Throughout the winter and spring, Lutherville students partnered with the Department of Natural Resources and volunteers from Trout Unlimited to raise rainbow trout.
Our 4th graders recently spent the day at Historic Jerusalem Mills – exploring hiking trails, testing water quality, sampling macroinvertbrates, releasing 187 trout fingerlings, creating “plein air” watercolors, and acting out predator-prey relationships.
Thank you to our students, who were engaged and respectful through the day. Another thank you to the parents and family members who chaperoned and took photos. It was a terrific experience for everyone!
