As you have read in recent posts, our 4th and 5th graders are gearing up for their STEM Fair projects. One way that we are preparing for our own projects is by watching science demonstration videos and discussing how we could change these demonstrations into science investigations. Take a peek at this wallwisher that students created to explain how they could use a video about making bioplastics as inspiration for a STEM project. Wallwisher is a terrific Web 2.0 tool that allows users to share their ideas with virtual sticky notes. You can even upload videos in your sticky notes, as you will see in the “wall” below.
To view the entire “wall” select the Post a Sticky tab. This will open the “wall” in a separate window. If the wallwisher window does not open, simply click the Refresh button at the top of your screen (that’s the two small green arrows near your URL bar).
