As you can see from the photo above, we now have a cockroach nursery in the iLab! This week, an egg sac from one of our female hissing cockroaches hatched. You can see that the baby cockroaches are white when they first hatch, but change color quickly once their exoskeletons harden. As of today, the babies have turned brown and are well-hidden in the mulch at the bottom of the cage.
