Environmental Club members, can you tell us what you noticed that Lutherville students were recycling well and if there were any problems that you observed?
Kimberely, Jason, and Garrett
We noticed that some classes put paper in the trash. Paper should be placed in the recycling bin. But congratulations to all the classes that got the green duck award.
Robin B, Keren J, Esther Y, Lucia B.
When we were investigating throughout the fourth and fifth grade classes, we realized that many people had thrown paper towels in the recycling bin. Please note, paper towels should be recycled! Post-it notes were also a common object found throughout the trash cans. Post-its are based on paper so they shall be recycled. We’re coming back next week to check on the improvement you guys have made! Congrats on the Green Duck classes who got it, keep it up!
